Thought experiment.

Actually a several part thought experiment. First, what is wrong, and I mean the big, stupidly obvious shit, like the illusion that this is a capitalistic system, the insanity that somehow it makes sense not to have universal healthcare, the ridiculousness of having massive wealth inequality. Second, given what we know about human nature, (knowledge that really hasn’t changed that much in centuries which is why books written hundreds of years ago are still insightful)–given what we know, and given that technology is vastly different than it was even five years ago, what would a better system look like? Third, between here and there, what are the realistic options and obstacles? Just jotting down the idea here, so maybe i can come back to it later.
